Bisi Sowemimo is a professional model and model coach with over fifteen years of professional experience in the modelling industry, working as a runway, fashion & commercial model.
She has been fortunate to have worked in many of the fashion capitals of the world, like Milan, Paris & New York. Internationally she has walked for designers like Vivienne Westwood, Giorgio Armani, Luciano Soprani, Etro, and locally she’s walked for top designers such as David Tlale, Rubicon, Gert Johan Coetzee, to name but a few.
She has also graced the covers of various magazines like Cosmopolitan & True Love, and has featured in many editorials for Elle, Wanted, Dossier, Grazia magazine, amongst others. TV commercial work include Standard Bank, Sun International, DSTV, Guinness, Pepsodent, Castle Larger, DSTV, Coca-Cola, Mutzig & Glo Cell.
Recently, she did an interview with CNN chatting about the modelling and fashion industry. She also did an interview as a seasoned model for African Fashion International on their docu-series for 15years of AFI.
Bisi is one of the successful few that have been fortunate enough to work both in front & behind the camera that gives them the rare view into both worlds & an added advantage to understanding both points of view. Bisi is also the go-to runway/model coach for models who have ambitions to walk the runway at Fashion Weeks.
